; left behind.

 Pride
1. a high or inordinate opinion of one's own dignity, importance, merit, or superiority,   whether as cherished in the mind or as displayed in bearing, conduct, etc.

P R I D E , PRIDE something people cling onto so much that it gets hard to let go. Especially when it comes to telling the truth or by just saying "I'm sorry." As humans it can't be helped that we have it naturally but what happens when we really have to let it go? What would the situation be? Would it be better to give it up? Questions we have to ponder upon. But maybe sometimes letting it go is for the best of things. It may seem like a very big thing to do but what if the after effect of letting pride go gets better. Relationships are reconciled, people start to have a whole new respect for you. To let it go or not, it's a decision to make. But if I were put in a situation to let it go, for the right reasons, I think I might just set pride aside.
